ARTISAN HOME TOUR TICKETING

A custom ticketing experience designed to elevate and complement the premium digital journey of the Artisan Home Tour.

Artisan Home Tour, an exclusive, ticketed event celebrates artistry, innovation, and design excellence, offers attendees a rare opportunity to experience exceptional homes firsthand. This year, the Artisan Home Tour team re-engaged with us to design a custom, in-app ticketing experience, seamlessly blending elegance and functionality to enhance every step of the digital journey.

The Opportunity

HFMN initially went with an off-the-shelf ticketing platform for the Artisan Home Tour but soon discovered its limitations. They turned back to KRUTSCH to develop a tailored, long-term solution designed specifically for their audience and event experience.

The Goal

The goal was to develop a next-generation ticketing platform that delivers a seamless, paperless experience, eliminates cash sales, and enhances functionality through improved reporting and analytics. By focusing on usability and reducing fatigue, the platform will create a smoother, more engaging experience for tour-goers and HFMN admins.

The Design Focus

The design focused on creating a cohesive experience across all platforms, addressing the needs of three distinct audiences. For tour-goers, the AHT website and mobile app make it easy to purchase, store, and redeem tickets. Ticket-takers use the admin version of the AHT app to efficiently check in guests at each home and access live analytics for the property they’re managing. HFMN admins manage ticket types, pricing, discount codes, and analytics with minimal technical overhead through BOSSv2. 


The overall design extends KRUTSCH’s established AHT brand, maintaining visual consistency and alignment across every platform.

The Development Focus

KRUTSCH proposed a robust solution centered on Stripe integration for seamless payment processing, paired with enhancements to the AHT iOS and Android apps, the AHT Webflow site, and the BOSSv2 backend.

Updates to BOSSv2 introduced cloud service improvements, account and ticket management, analytics across tickets, homes, and builders, as well as discount code functionality. The Webflow integration enabled web-based ticket purchasing, retrieval, printing, and digital wallet support, while app updates empowered ticket-takers to scan tickets and view home analytics, and tour-goers to purchase and redeem tickets directly within the app.

The resulting architecture is flexible and scalable, allowing for future feature expansion without disrupting the existing system.

The Result

The Artisan Home Tour's new ticketing platform delivered a frictionless, end-to-end experience for both it's users and it's admins. HFMN gained live analytics visibility, easy exports, and simplified management tools. Tour-goers now enjoy a streamlined purchase and entry process with digital flexibility. Ticket-takers benefit from a faster, more reliable system that minimizes human error.



The solution modernized how HFMN manages it's flagship event, positioning the Artisan Home Tour for continued digital growth in future seasons.
