Founded and led by U.S. Veterans, R.E.D.E.E.M. partnered with KRUTSCH to help Veterans navigate a complex VA benefits system. Redeem empowers Veterans to discover and claim what they’ve earned for their military service.
The Opportunity
Veterans transitioning back to civilian life often face one of their toughest challenges outside of active duty: figuring out what benefits they qualify for and how to claim them.
Veterans had to navigate a maze of government websites and piece together information on their own, leaving many feeling overwhelmed and underserved. What they needed was one reliable place to access the benefits and support they’ve earned.

How We Did It
Automate Benefit Discovery
Discovering an aggregating Veteran benefits across the VA and all 50 states required a unique approach.
We leveraged AI to automate benefit discovery and data synthesis, scanning federal and state government sources to match benefits with verified service records. All benefit data is verified against VA.gov.
Respect Veteran Privacy
Many Veteran assistance apps require users to enter sensitive personal & veteran info. Our approach was to require none of that out of respect for the veteran's privacy. We opted for close partnership, the Veteran's Administration and government verification systems like ID.me to match Veteran’s with benefits without storing personal data.
The Result - By Veterans, For Veterans
The final product is a guided, intuitive experience that feels like having a personal VA navigator at your side. Veterans can discover benefits based on their service history, access support from Veteran Service Officers or organizations, save or share benefits, and learn though expert-led master classes.
Built by experienced designers and developers, the platform pairs human expertise with AI to accelerate design and development, enhancing the process without replacing the people behind it.
